The St. John’s Boys’ Choir (“SJBC” or “we” or “us”), understands your concerns about privacy and your interest in knowing how your information is used and safeguarded when you donate to us, and we want to provide you with more information on these topics. We have created this Donor Privacy Policy (the “Donor Policy”) to provide our donors with complete information related to our practices and procedures in relation to all the information that we collect from them when they donate or purchase services (tickets, camp registration, CD’s, parent pledges and tour fees). Please note that this Donor Policy applies to all information collected regarding donations and services that occur both online and offline.

The information we collect from donors

The only personal information that we collect from donors is the information that is voluntarily provided to us. For example, if you opt to donate by “clicking” the “donate” button on our website, we will collect certain personally identifiable information, which may include your name, email address, and postal address.

Regarding processing your donations – whether or not processed through a third-party payment processor – the payment information you provide to us will only be used to process your donation. If you opt to make a recurring donation, then required payment information will be stored to facilitate future donations; otherwise, your payment information will not be stored or used for any other purpose.

We will never share or sell your information

We will not sell, share, or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

The third-party donation service providers we use

The SJBC uses DonorSnap as our online donation platform. All donation data collected is subject to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), and other applicable privacy laws. Non-Personal Information that is collected remains anonymous or non-personally identifiable. All Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is encrypted. Financial information such as banking information or credit card number, name, CVV code or date of expiration, is collected and stored by a third-party payment processor. Financial information is not stored by the SJBC, nor by DonorSnap.

When making a donation, information collected may include:

· Contact and account information such as name, email address, physical address, location data, phone number, and social media information.

· Technical information collected. Such information may include standard web log entries that contain IP address, cookies, page URL and timestamp. For more information, please see DonorSnap’s privacy policy.

The St. John’s Boys’ Choir is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Federal ID # 41-1744700). Donations to The St. John’s Boys’ Choir are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
