These are the current – startling headlines in today’s media. In 2023 North Beach PAWS cared for over 1,600 cats and dogs. Our current dog shelter has only 8 kennels. We are turning away 40+ dogs a month. Many of these are litters of puppies who will probably not get regular veterinary care or get spayed or neutered, which makes the heartbreak of overpopulation even worse.
We are currently raising funds for a new, state-of-the-art shelter with 20 kennels to help dogs that need a safe place to go. Please help support our efforts to save as many as we can now, or to save even more as we fundraise to Build a Better Place.
