4th Annual Turtle Flats Bird Count
Sunday, March 15, 2020~ 8am-11am
Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah
Pre-registration is required.
Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah look forward to perform the 4th annual bird count at Turtle Flats! Turtle Flats is the Friends' 63-acre property where they are doing extensive floodplain restoration. This site, where the Coast Fork and Middle Fork of the Willamette River come together, is host to a diversity of species. Birders will survey a portion of the area, including some of the old gravel ponds. The survey will contribute valuable bird data over time as restoration takes place at the site.
Advance registration is required. Please use this form to register. Space is limited and fills up quickly. Please let us know if you need to cancel so we can fill your spot.
Bring your own binoculars, snacks, and water. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for walking on uneven surfaces. Birders of all ability levels are welcome to participate. For questions, contact Gretchen Bray at email@example.com
Directions will be sent to you upon completion of registration.
